...Ashley is such a fantastic nurse. My uncle was a patient on 6th floor. Ashley made us feel like he was her only patient. She always made sure that she kept his pain under control as close as she could. His comfort was very important to her. Because of radiation treatments, he had a hard time eating and drinking. Ashley asked him if there was anything she could bring him in the morning. He said coffee from McDonald's. She brought him a cup every morning. She even brought him a cup on her day off. This was so unexpected, but very much appreciated. Ashley always brought such joy to him. She would come and talk to him about his truck driving days. She was so caring in dealing with a very stressful situation and dealing with a terminal diagnosis. Once again I would like to say how extraordinary Ashley is. We are blessed and thankful to have her come into our lives.
