Mini is worthy in so many different ways. She always goes above and beyond to meet her patients needs. She showed deep compassion when caring for a dying patient who needed radiation. She went out of her way out of compassion to meet patient and family demands in a very demanding situation. During the course of events, she did not in any manner, display any act of frustration. She is a very humble and trustworthy member of the team. She devotes her time to educating her patients and family with relevant information necessary for healthy living after hospital stay. She is very tolerant to criticism of any manner and commands respect among her nursing peers.

As a charge nurse, she is fair in making assignments and very respectful of other staff and patients. She is a team player and would go out of her way to assist nurses and PCA's to ensure hitch-free workflow. She is very respectful of patient and family and coworkers and even their opinions.She is good at collaborating with all disciplines. She is good at helping physical therapists to get her patients out of bed. She collaborates with case managers on case by case basis to see about patient's prescription and rehab before discharge.

She leads by example; she is punctual to work and takes the lead in patient centered care. She is a great servant leader and that is not far-fetched when she is the charge nurse and conducting other duties assigned to her. Mini's dedication to duty, respect for patient and family and coworkers is enviable. She exemplifies excellence in all her nursing activity. I am not surprised each time I do a follow up discharge call; she is highly regarded and positively remembered by her patients. Mini is an excellent nurse deserving of a DAISY award.
