Meghan Maloney possesses a high level of knowledge and skill as a labor nurse and she is respected and admired by her peers. She is an excellent charge nurse and is a valued resource person to both those working under her charge as well as others that serve in the role of charge. Meghan's top priority is patient safety and she was one of the Patient Safety Award recipients for 2017. Safety begins with education and Meghan demonstrates her value of education by being an instructor for the Fetal Monitoring class, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and has assisted with the successful implementation of our organizations SIM program. Meghan spends a great deal of time at her patient's bedside and still gets genuinely excited for her patients. She is always pleasant and happy to give a helping hand when needed. Meghan is able to brighten everyone's day.
