No matter where I go in the hospital, people always say how warm and inviting my mother is. Because she has been a PeaceHealth Employee for 43 years and honestly cares about everyone she interacts with, most people around the hospital have had at least some interaction with her. She always has a smile on her face and is the first to say hello to everyone who walks past her. While calling people for health histories, she is frequently told that the patient would like to meet with her when coming in for surgery to thank her for being so thorough and explanative. Because she usually works behind the scenes, she isn't always recognized for exceptional patient care.
