Yvonne Bohl took on a post-op case that had a very bleak outcome. Yvonne brought members of the patient's family to be with the patient during her final stages of life. Yvonne spent more than 5 hours keeping the patient comfortable and updating family members and doctors. She educated and supported the family and assisted in having the patient's priest give the last rights. Yvonne donated her own money to help purchase a Rosary for the patient. She gave post-mortem care and made sure to keep the Rosary in the patient's hand as she was transported out of the unit. Her dedication and loving heart helped the family through this difficult and emotional time. Yvonne is truly a DAISY Nurse.
