Great Patient Care - Very Attentive - Caring - Friendly
Made sure she listened to Dad and was not in a hurry. Made Dad a Coke Float, which was special. Talked directly to him when discussing care and treatment/meds instead of speaking in the third person when the patient is in the room and hearing what is said. Very empathetic tone and comforting. It is easy to tell she likes her work taking care of people.

My mother passed away in CCU. Sarah was extraordinary with my mother and my family. She went the extra step to console and explain everything that was happening along the way. After 2 weeks of being on the ventilator and not making any progress, we decided to discontinue care. This was one of the hardest decisions that I have ever had to make, but with the help of the doctors and nurses, like Sarah, we made it through this tough time. My wife is an RN at TGMC and I am a former respiratory therapist here too. Sarah helped my brother and my sisters understand what was going on and what to expect next pertaining to the stoppage of care. Nurses like this should be praised because she goes above and beyond her duties every day.
