LouAnn Kesic was absolutely phenomenal to me and my family during my hospital stay at The University of Chicago Medical Center. Her professional attitude, competency, responsiveness, and compassion were beyond impeccable. In my many calls for help, she never took more than 30 seconds to check on me.
LouAnn explained my medication and possible side effects and assured me that I was in good hands with the medical team here. She went above and beyond to get to know me outside of being a patient. I've been in several hospitals and spent a great deal of time in ICUs as I battle a rare heart condition. After four years of dealing with my condition, I have not met a nurse with the charisma or dedication to the nursing profession that LouAnn has.
All the nurses here were awesome but I specifically want to acknowledge LouAnn as a special angel sent by God to watch over me. LouAnn, my sons and my sister and the family salute you! We need more LouAnns as we make our world a healthier and safer place for all.
