Carly was nominated for going the extra mile in not only taking great care of the patient in the hospital but also caring for a family member that was visiting and not feeling well. With Carly's caring behavior and recognizing the patient's need for further assistance, she convinced the visitor to go to ED. This person was so thankful for Carly's excellent clinical skills, compassionate care and determination because they were told, "to thank the nurse who was so persistent that they went to the ED because she saved your life".
