Mariaugh Maestas has been with 6NE since 2010 and when she started out as a nurse technician. Mariaugh has now grown into her role as a staff nurse and mentor. She is a great nurse who is always willing to jump in and help teach new staff. She is inquisitive and helpful and is a fierce advocate for her patients, especially to our Spanish speaking population. Most noticeably, Mariaugh is known for her great teamwork and for her collaboration with other units.

This amazing RN always tries to make our day easier here in the ED. When Mariaugh is 6NE's ADT she tries to come down and pick our patients up when transferring to the floor. I didn't even know what an ADT was until she came to get a report. I have gone to 6NE to start an IV for her before and she is amazing with her patients. She exemplifies the teamwork that we should have between the floors and the ED.

Mariaugh is an awesome nurse who goes above and beyond. She will walk down to the ED from 6NE and personally get a patient. On a recent occasion, all I had to do was mention that the patient was in the hallway. She almost immediately arrived with a smile on her face and brought the very grateful patient up to his room. She's done this on multiple occasions, without prompting. She is always kind and generous, helpful and respectful.
