I have worked with Conrad several nights in this department where he consistently demonstrates a positive and supportive attitude towards both patients and families. He goes above and beyond for families and staff. He is always seeking to help make any patients' experience an extraordinary one! He is always smiling and happy. He is a pleasure to work with. Conrad is not only a pleasure to work with inside the hospital, but his compassion follows him in his everyday life and hobbies. He was recently in the news for swimming across Lake Erie in record time and in his efforts, he raised more than $7,000 for the Children's Hospital Foundation. It takes a person who is truly dedicated to those they serve to not only care for their patients and families inside of the hospital but to link that passion to their hobbies outside of work. These efforts are the true definition of going above and beyond for not just one patient, not just the patients who pass through his department, but for all of the patients and families at Children's Hospital. We are lucky to have someone who works hard in and out of the hospital to make the lives of the patients and families he serves better on every level!
