Mike is an amazing nurse. He continually keeps a positive attitude even in difficult situations. He works very closely with me in PACU to recover patients after he has provided excellent care for the patient in the OR. We had a very sick patient who had post-surgery complications and because of his care postop, the patient, who had a grim outlook, lived.
Mike always has a smile on his face and a positive word for other staff members. I have worked in PACU and received patients post-operatively for several years from Mike. I always enjoy receiving his patients because I know as soon as he brings the patient from the OR, he will have a smile on his face and a kind word for all he comes in contact with. Aside from Mike's positive attitude, he provides exceptional care for his patients. He talks with them and genuinely cares about the patient.
Mike not only provides excellent care for his patients, but he tries to take care of everyone around him. His is continually asking what he can do to help. He is always thinking of others before himself; his wonderful attributes, as well as the compassionate care he provides, makes everyone feel better.
