I am a fairly new employee. I had many preceptors and they were all very nice and helped me whenever I needed it. There was one thing missing though; I could not wrap my head around care connect and how to manage the documentation. Liz was my preceptor for a few weeks and just took me by the hand and navigated me, this made me have the understanding of how to use the system.
Liz is the most compassionate, understanding, hardworking nurse that I have met in a long time. Liz goes above and beyond the duties that she is given. I am no longer under her wing, but work side by side with her and still feel the same way. Liz is often found offering other nurses a hand and still caring for her patients at the same time. I feel privileged to work alongside such a beautiful person and nurse.
Respect for yourself and others is something that you cannot teach, but to lead by example is a way to show others the right way to do things and that is Liz; always leading by doing the right thing.
