Stephanie was nominated for her professional and caring demeanor shown towards a patient during the patient's return visit to the ED.
"I was surprised to be greeted with great concern by Nurse Stephanie at the front desk asking me what happened and why I was returning," the patient wrote in a nomination letter. "She went above and beyond to assist me. She immediately relieved my stress and solved my problem, all while treating me with courtesy and respect."
The patient wasn't the only one receiving excellent care from Stephanie that night.
"As I sat in the ER most of the night," she wrote, "I observed her treating other patients in the same manner. I believe she is a great asset to your hospital."
