Stephanie has consistently shown great care for her patients and support to the resident team. She is well informed and proactively trying to aid with the communication between patient and physician. The most impressive trait in Stephanie's patient care is her compassion and her patience with very complex patients. On one occasion we both cared for a man who was homeless and found on the street. He was understandably very unclean and suffering from a multitude of opportunistic parasitic skin infections. Stephanie took care of this patient with the same love and compassion as with any person in the community. She was an advocate for his wellbeing and proved to be very helpful in monitoring him for alcohol withdrawal and AKI. She made our job easier in responding to clinical changes in time so that the patient ultimately achieved a wonderful recovery without lasting injuries or disability. I believe that this patient is still alive because of her great care, support, understanding, and ability to bring the whole team together such that we could all provide the best care for this unfortunate person. Stephanie is kind, sincere, strong, and a very good team player that I would trust with the care of my loved ones if that was ever needed. Thank you, Stephanie!
