This nurse is truly amazing and deserves to be recognized for the many shoes that she wears. She is a cheearleader to all and so loyal and devoted to our hospital.
When we have new employees she becomes their mentor, makes sure that they feel welcome and encourages them to participate in committees and get involved in unit activities and improvement processes.
She had passed her certification exam this year in her area of practice setting an example for others to follow. She has participated in several research projects and worked endlessly to support her manager and coworkers while keeping up with her committee obligations.
She is always willing to share her knowledge and expertise and to assist other departments and staff when asked.
We are always asking more and more of our staff and she is never one to shy away , even though it may over extend her. She is an example to all for improving our work like and patient care.
She is a member of TNA, ANA, AMSN and shares the information she receives from these organizations.
She serves time on the letter writing committee for the Great 100 Nurses. Many nurses receive recognition time and again due to her nominating them or writing a letter yet she goes unrecognized for what she contributes both to her units and to Baylor.
She provides support to our leadership and she takes the lead in guiding us into the world of evidence based practices.
She truly is an example of what we all strive to be and does it with a smile, energy and no exectation for reward. Our nomination does not do her justice.
She is truly awesome and deserving of this award. Maybe this would show her family how much her contribution to us means and how we appreciate the times we have taken her way from them. She is an outstanding example to both her and her family.
