During Nurse Leader Rounding, Megan's name comes up regularly for "Making a connection" with the patient. Patients say that when they are anxious and vulnerable, this Nurse takes the time to put them at ease. She "Takes Five" by talking slowly and using genuine words of empathy, she builds a rapport and creates trust. This Nurse is very diligent in making sure the patient is clinically stable, she picks up on small changes in a patient's condition and does not hesitate to get the patient the help they need to keep them safe and prevent harm.

Meg was extremely helpful and one of the most compassionate nurses I have ever met. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and she really made me feel like a person, not just another patient. Meg was a big part in making my stay here after surgery the best experience I've ever had in any hospital in my entire life.
