We would like to recognize and thank Theresa Leavey for the kind, compassionate care she showed D during his stay in Rehab. After having a terrible experience at another hospital and mixed up discharge, we arrived at Inpatient Rehab at about 5 pm. At first, we were told the "transfer" to Jameson could only be by ambulance. Six hours later, we were told our son could transport D to Jameson in his car. We were tired and frustrated. The first nurse we met was Theresa Leavey. Her pretty smile, warmth, and confidence made us feel so much better right away. She answered our questions and if she did not know an answer she made certain she got one quickly. Her sense of humor relaxed us for the first time in days. For the first time in days, we felt we were in a good place where the whole wonderful staff was there for us. We would recommend Inpatient Rehab to anyone.
