My 17-year-old niece was brought in because of injuries sustained in a house fire. The entire nursing staff in the Medical ICU 8th floor of the Comprehensive Cancer Center answered every question, meet every request of the family, took amazing selfless care of my niece as if she were their own child. The extraordinary team of doctors and nurses that touched our lives and the life of my niece will never be forgotten and there are no words or amount of money that could ever repay them for the acts of kindness and caring and true dedication that they showed my loved one.
Even though my niece passed away they continued to keep her well maintained for the organ donation process and never one time strayed from the support to her or the family. A truly amazing staff and team of absolute heroic angels! Our experience here did not have the outcome we hoped for, but the team made us feel like we could feel the compassion they had for our loved one and us just by entering the room.
