Brittany was amazing while taking care of my husband. Not only was she reassuring and compassionate towards the patient, but also towards me. My husband has had a very bumpy road for the last 7 months. At times we were scared and she took the time to answer questions, explain what a test or procedure was, listen when he needed to vent, and always ensure his needs were met. She was very understanding regarding his embarrassment over having to be cleaned up by others. She was a true advocate for him and was willing to go the extra mile to keep him safe and comfortable. Being in the ICU can be very scary for the patient as well as their loved ones. I believe that the wonderful care she and all the others in the ICU gave him is one of the main reasons he got better so quickly. We are very thankful for all she did for us.
