Alexis is the most amazing and caring nurse. I am always so overjoyed when I get to have her as my nurse. She really connects with her patients. I told Alexis that I felt bad because I couldn't get my mom a Mother's Day present. After hearing my worries about it, Alexis helped me and got flowers and a card for my mom. I know she would have done that for any patient in this hospital even on her time off. She is a true DAISY Nurse!

Alexis has taken care of my daughter numerous times during several admissions. She always has a positive attitude and is so compassionate. She is a knowledgeable nurse and is on top of every situation that arises.
This hospital admission fell during Mother's Day. While I was out of the room, my daughter told Alexis she was disappointed that she didn't have anything for me for Mother's Day. Alexis asked B what type of flowers I liked and had her write what she would say in a Mother's Day card. On Mother's Day, Alexis came to the hospital on her day off to have the receptionist bring flowers and a card to the room and say they were from B. The card had all the words B told Alexis she would want to put in a card. This is just one example of how Alexis goes above and beyond her duties as a nurse. It is a joy when B has Alexis as her nurse because I know she is in great hands and will receive excellent care.
