Nicole set firm limits and stood by them, all the while doing so from an obvious position of caring and protection for my daughter and her well-being.
My daughter was in full crisis when she was placed on 10B. Nicole did an amazing job de-escalating my daughter and also me (just being honest) and others when emotions got out of bounds. She set firm limits and stood by them, all the while doing so from an obvious position of caring and protection for my daughter and her well-being. The whole unit is run by the book, where expectations, limits, and consequences are made clear right up front and in the open, which made it really easy for all involved to stay on the same page and moving towards the same goals.
I am a business owner and Nicole's leadership and management skills are top-notch. If she taught management or leadership classes, I would attend. She knows her stuff inside and out and makes tough decisions without letting emotions cloud the issue. She makes her decisions quietly but with the understanding they are non-negotiable. She was exactly what we needed here and I cannot express my gratitude and admiration enough. She is a huge asset to this facility.
