I want to commend Tin for her wonderful service. The quality of care was beyond our expectations and made our stay worthwhile. I was admitted mid-September due to preterm labor. My blood pressure was high, so they needed to control and lower it. Tin was one of my nurses. She was very caring and always had a great smile. She would check me now and then and would assure I would get enough rest so I would not worry about my condition and my baby. She would volunteer to make my bed or get me water so I'm comfortable. When I asked her how hard it is to be a nurse, she would answer as if she wasn't having a hard time and just laughed and smiled. She would tell me that she works on a 12-hour shift, but she was still there after to check on me and would say goodbye before going home. She made me feel safe as she explained to me in detail and in ways I could understand the medications and treatment that was being given.
Due to my uncontrollable blood pressure, I had an emergency CS and Tin was still assigned to me. During post-delivery, she was very encouraging. She assured me that I was doing good. I was able to transfer to a ward and able to visit my baby, since I recovered fast enough that my blood pressure was controlled. Tin was one of the nicest nurses that I have encountered during my stay. She keeps the patient at ease. I will always be grateful for help and kindness when we were still admitted at St. Luke's.
