Judy always goes above and beyond while providing patient care, even if it causes extra work for her. I've seen her go out of her way to get the right supplies, the right answer and information for the patients and their families. Her sharp mind is always thinking of the best way to solve a problem and to deliver the best patient care. Judy went the extra mile to make sure a patient who she was not currently taking care of and who was having difficulty controlling her bowels, was properly taken care of and cleaned well before being sent back to her room.
On multiple occasions Judy has gone out of her way to make sure that if a patient's family misses the doctor initially, she will call the doctor to have them come back and let the family know about the procedure. Judy always goes the extra mile to make sure she has the right equipment and right supplies to provide the patient with the safest most effective care possible. If she doesn't know something she will find the right answer, she uses her resources here at Mount Carmel East to her advantage. She is always looking forward to learning new things to become an even better nurse and is excited about it!
