Not long ago, my son was throwing up a large amount of blood. He had been scoped four times already and had received 16 or 17 units of blood. When he started throwing up blood again, Chloe went into super nurse mode and took complete control of the situation. She was jumping through hoops to make everything come together as it should. At first, I thought she was in somewhat of a panic mode, but as I watched her work I realized she knew exactly what she was doing. The doctor who did the 5th scope told us we had an exceptional nurse to have my son from his room to the O.R. in record time. He said due to the excellent job she did, he was able to see the actual bleed and was able to repair what he needed to. If there is an extraordinary nurse, we sure had one when we needed one. When Chloe stopped for two seconds in this very critical time to look me in the eyes and say that everything was going to be alright, I knew God put that nurse in the right place.
