Tasi Mackie was a wonderful nurse from start to finish. She made our experience at Methodist memorable. She greeted us bright and early at 6am with a smile. She was very personable and down to earth. At first we forgot why we were there because she made us feel so comfortable and gave us the at home feeling. She was excellent at explaining everything we were about to conquer and she was organized. My husband was there for an angiogram at age 31 which is very scary. Tasi had the most positive upbeat attitude and explained how things were going to be done and that everything would be okay. Before being taken to the Cath lab, she gave a detailed description of every other employee my husband may encounter while there. She had nothing but positive things to say about each one of them and how awesome they were. That they make the perfect team.
Tasi was very experienced and educated; she knew what she was doing which gave us a peace of mind. Tasi Mackie went above and beyond to make our experience at Methodist great. Before surgery all my husband wanted was coffee but couldn't have due to being NPO. After the procedure she had coffee and breakfast there for him, he didn't even have to ask. Thank you Tasi for being such an awesome nurse. You are making a difference in people's lives!
