Mary Ann was recognized by a Veteran's daughter. She said that Mary Ann was always smiling and showed great compassion for her father. She stated, "I know he was not the only patient she had to care for, but she made the family feel as though he was". It is very special that nurses have the opportunity to help ease some anxiety for Veterans and their families during a hospital stay. Thank you for your care and compassion you show our Veterans!
