Tad asked a question - What does the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven look like in action? That is the question that fueled the "Love is All" model. On December 5th and 6th of 2015 Tad developed a unique healthcare clinic for our neighbors in need. The clinic included 40 dental chairs for dental work, 2 VSP vision trucks to conduct vision screenings and to immediately make glasses for those who needed them, physician's performing exams as needed, cosmetology and massage therapy schools also participated. The clinic took place at Loma Linda Academy and was attended by 1,000's of people. At the end of the day Tad performed a free concert and included a powerful message from Nick Vuijcic of Life without Limbs which took place at the Loma Linda University Church. Tad organized and recruited for all of the medical aspects of this event and many people walked away with much needed glasses, dental care and medical needs referred and hand-led. The title of the event really says it all, Love is All.
Tad exemplified extraordinary nursing practice and compassion by developing this free event for people in need making an enormous difference in 1,000's of lives. He is a shining star in the Emergency Department and exudes compassion, excellence, teamwork, and wholeness. I wholeheartedly nominate him for the prestigious DAISY Award. He is so deserving.
