I am so proud to tell you about my nurse, Rachel, who works the night shift in the ICU. Rachel took the time to meet my mom, my brother, and really get to know us as a family. Rachel not only met all my family's expectations, but she truly exceeded all the expectations set by the hospital. Rachel answered all our medical concerns and kept us informed as a family about tests and labs that we were waiting on. Rachel took the time to make us all laugh, during a terrible family crisis. Rachel was so warm, compassionate, and loving. We needed Rachel to be strong for us, and she was. Rachel is also a smart nurse. She educated us all on various medical conditions that we asked her about. Rachel told us she has three children, and that she loves being a mother, and she loves being a nurse. St. Joseph's is very blessed to have a loving, devoted, compassionate employee like Rachel. We have met hundreds of nurses over the years, few have matched Rachel's heart, mind, and courage. This working mother of three deserves credit for being a great mom and a great nurse. Rachel made a positive image of St. Joseph's for us. We are so proud to call ICU night nurse, Rachel, our friend!
