Following a dark episode, I was given 1-on-1 care for six days. I was so blessed to have Joe. He helped me through this difficult time and guided me back to an above healthy level by his true care, love, and compassion to use his wisdom in such a positive way. Please be aware of what an unbelievable asset he is to your care team. He helped save my life. Thank you, Joe, so much!

Whenever I needed something Joe was willing to put everything on pause and see not only to my needs but also for the staff and other patients. When he is not here I sometimes do not get things done. He is very kind and exemplary in everything he does. He educates and informs the patients.
My father would say Joe is an accomplished "Jack of all Traits" because of the easy way he handles patients and personnel even during hectic times when it is hard to keep up with demands of patients and everyday duties. From making coffee to getting his work accomplished, I think he goes beyond the expectations of a regular nurse. He has his act together; he handles people and problems with ease or finds answers.

Joe actively engaged the students to enhance our learning. He wanted to make sure we knew what the role of a Psych Nurse is. He also gave us NCLEX advice, which we appreciated! He was very sincere when dealing with patients and spoke with family members to reassure them that they were in good hands. He used humor for healing.
