Meredith is an exceptional chemo educator. I had a shocking chemo diagnosis during my stay, and she had the important but dreaded task of educating me on the very serious and scary possible side effects. She was very thorough, double and triple-checking that I was retaining the knowledge. She was so patient and caring. When I got my port put in, there were major complications accessing my port. Meredith stayed about 45 minutes after her shift until everything was resolved. It made me feel like she cared and was invested, and made me feel like I was being cared for like family. She has popped in and out of my room every day, all day and makes me feel like I'm the only patient here. Meredith is the best!

My daughter has had no quality of life for the last few months. The day after she was admitted, we were informed my daughter suffered from colon cancer. An angel, Meredith, blessed us with our first lessons on cancer and chemo. We were tired and completely exhausted, but her teachings were great. She was knowledgeable, and even if she didn't know, she did the research for us. We started our first chemo that same night, and she stayed well after her shift to see my daughter was all set. Through the remainder of our stay, she continued to see after my daughter and even caught her up on the remainder of the tv show Teen Mom. Meredith exemplified compassion and is a DAISY Nurse!
