Lisa recognized that there was an issue post-procedure that would have prevented me from healing properly. She was AWESOME! She made numerous calls to the surgeon, wound care nurse and the wound vac company to assure that when I went home, the equipment was working the way it should and I could heal.
Not one time did I ever feel rushed, pressured to leave, uneducated, or frustration from Lisa. She was persistent and making sure I had what I needed. This nurse deserved to be recognized for her compassionate care, advocating for her patient, and representation of the nursing profession.
