Job is a very good nurse who is caring and answers lights right away. Makes you feel comfortable and is very helpful. He gives you his full attention, always there. Gave me a bed bath and lots more. I cannot praise him enough. The best nurse ever, like a nurse should be at all times.

Job Khan was my Dad's nurse during the course of a two-week stay at DRMC. The first day he was his nurse, Dad was very depressed due to having to have a feeding tube. When he came to administer Dad's medications, he spoke directly to my Dad and explained what each medication he was putting in his feeding tube was and what it was for. He also made a point to straighten the room before he left, and my Dad said "Before you leave, I want to thank you." It was a turning point for Dad that particular day. He felt Job respected him as a person as well as a patient.
On another day, Dad wanted to shave, and Job said he would help him, even though that would normally be an aide's responsibility. Then Job was assigned a patient that required a lot of care, as Job ran out of time on that day. He came to Dad's room at the end of his shift and promised Dad that he would help him shave the next day. But on the next day, Job was assigned to another unit, so Job came on his lunch break and helped Dad shave. Wow, that was above and beyond the call of duty! Words cannot express what his caring spirit did for our family. He epitomizes everything a nurse should be. He was a light during a dark time. We are so thankful to have met him. He left a wonderful and lasting impression on our family.

Job has been extremely patient and kind. He has been the ultimate professional. He carefully and thoroughly explains procedures and steps along the way. He checks on us often and provides exemplary care. This experience is restoring some of our faith in Desert and employees like Job have gone a long way to doing that.

My husband is a patient and of all the RNs caring for him, Job is the most helpful, patient, intelligent and very accommodating among them all. I'm very thankful to find someone like him that is assigned taking care of my husband. Of all the nurses that are here, I would say this one is the best.

My brother was frustrated and ready to give up when he was admitted through ER. While all those tending to him did their jobs, Job was outstanding. I especially like the way he explained the reason he does what he does and the purpose for the various drugs and procedures. His calm demeanor helped my brother relax and take on a more positive attitude which will benefit his recovery. Job made us feel he cared about the family as well as the patient.
