While on vacation in Biloxi our 22-month-old daughter suffered a febrile seizure. We brought her to the ER and we were blessed with an outstanding nurse. Dawna was reassuring, medically knowledgeable, and took her time with our situation. Many tests had to be performed on our daughter and Dawna did each of these with perfect precision. My husband is a nurse and he was thoroughly impressed with her work, as was I. Dawna helped us calm down in a very stressful situation, not by pacifying us with generalities, but by giving us the knowledge we needed to understand the entire situation we were in.
