It's my third nomination, but you try living on the 9th floor for several weeks and not become in awe of the care of that floor! Mary was my night nurse on day one and has been my night nurse throughout my stay. She's always trying to find ways to make me more comfortable. She always takes the time to talk to me and she tries to prepare me for the next steps.
Today, for example, she's making sure I don't have my port accessed until needed, and she also took the time to talk to me about my discharge as I won't know for sure until it's time and she always listens. She always makes me smile.
