There are numerous instances where Sherry has gone above and beyond for our patients in the department of Radiation Oncology. She has an empathy and kindness that truly inspires others. Specifically, Sherry is an integral person in our brachy therapy program. She puts patients at ease as they come in for their invasive and intensive therapies. She holds their hands during the procedure which always yields a smooth outcome. She is the first and the last person to see the patient and is the reason patients continue to return to us.

Sherry is fully engaged in the care of her patients. She keeps track of their progress, problems, and makes sure they are fully educated regarding their management/treatment. She has often stayed late (at her own inconvenience) to help take care of unanticipated problems. For many patients after radiation, she will make follow-up telephone calls of her own accord to make sure their needs remain addressed.
