Lydia is a wonderful manager. She has a very cheerful disposition and a smile on her face. She is very encouraging when a patient or staff member is having a bad day or just needs to talk. She always addresses our concerns immediately. When she doesn't have an answer right away she will tell you and keep you posted so you know she is still working on it. She is a great resource and a great nurse and can help in a pinch. She works closely with the other areas in our building to make sure our patients have the best experience possible. We recently moved into our new beautiful building and she worked many late nights and weekends to make sure we had everything in place for the first day. She was available during the first week to assist with any new needs and coordinated many other needs. I have been a nurse for a long time and have never worked with a manager so willing to help and keep us informed of the many changes in healthcare.

Lydia is an amazing manager. She shows all of the staff compassion daily. She is never too busy to help. For example, I had questions about a patient's central line. She was able to help me find the information I needed to safely flush the central line. She made sure that everything was taken care of for me and for the patient so that we could get the best outcome possible. She was able to contact the doctor and our nurse educator to make sure that we had all information needed. She showed my patient such respect and compassion too while we were trying to find the necessary information. This is a daily thing for Lydia. I know that if I ever need help with anything she will move mountains to make sure things get taken care of.
She not only shows compassion for our work, but she actually cares about her employees' overall wellbeing. I know that I can talk to her about personal issues that I may have and she is always willing to help with that too. She is a very knowledgeable nurse and it really shows when she talks with our patients. Lydia is such a blessing to the infusion center as she models trust, compassion, and respect with all of the staff and our patients too!
