I had knee replacement surgery. Sharon was my dayshift nurse for my entire stay. The floor was busy with overflows and discharges, but Sharon always had a very positive attitude from the beginning of the shift all the way to the end. She made me feel very comfortable and calmed my fears. She took the time to explain all the procedures, the do's and don'ts, as well as the medications I needed to be taking and why. She never made me feel rushed or that I couldn't ask her anything. Sharon was the ideal nurse in how she relieved my fears about the upcoming surgery and the challenges I would face afterwards. She was approachable and never talked down to me even if I didn't understand. Sharon was very informative and attentive to my needs and extremely accommodating. I enjoyed my hospital stay because she was remarkable in making this surgery and stay the best possible under the circumstances!
