My mother had a massive stroke at her home in early May. Her left side is paralyzed. However, with much attention and instructions, my mother is able to move her knee and left fingers slightly. Nurse Oanh has been instrumental with guiding me with what to do. I especially appreciate her explaining to me specific medical terms, medicines, and sharing notes from the doctor. I am a hands on person and Oanh allowed me to be of assistance with her and I was able to take notes so that I can use them at a later time. Also, Oanh asked questions about my mother and our family which is very important. Oanh has shown me that she is a people person and takes her job with an attitude above the norm.
The staff here has been exceptionally wonderful to my mom and me. Today, Oanh gave us a step by step lesson in changing the bedding, cleaning, and caring for momma for when we leave for home. I am so thankful for everything offered in the way of loving, compassionate, and amazing service by this wonderful team.
Oanh's performance was exceptionally excellent. Oanh not only performed her job duties and responsibilities with the utmost professionalism but went above and beyond the norm to make me feel special, like a guest, not just a patient. She was friendly and truly cared, not just for me, but about me.
