Sharon is night charge nurse and is considered exceptional by her peers. In addition to being the 3N night charge nurse she frequently precepts new RNs and loves to support educational needs of new and current staff. Sharon lives the CH mission in the provision of care for patients and her support of her colleagues on 3N/S.
Viewed as an effective communicator, Sharon is a patient advocate and believes in keeping patients and families continuously informed of their Plan of Care. She is sensitive to patients and families dealing with overwhelming medical disabilities as well as those facing concerns regarding both quality of life and End of Life issues.
A champion for purposeful rounding, Sharon is a regular participant in her UPC and strong supporter for best practice care.
