Soanny is very kind and compassionate. She makes a person feel like they are important to her. She always smiles. If she is very busy, she lets her patients know up front and then she goes the extra mile to respond quickly. She is what makes EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE and not just minimum service. Soanny goes far and beyond her duties as a Registered Nurse at Trinity Mother Frances. She was there when my chemotherapy treatment started and she stayed and held my hand throughout the treatment because I told her I was scared. Her caring and compassion did not stop there. She even came to visit me on the days I was not receiving chemotherapy to make sure that I was okay, and to see if I needed anything. She would pray with my family and me whenever we needed it the most. I remember when once, I lost my appetite and could not tolerate anything; she came walking through the door with this big chocolate milkshake. I drank it all and was able to keep it down. I later found out that it was a milkshake made from Boost (a nutritional supplement) to make sure that I received the calories and nutrients that I wasn't getting through my food. When she walks in the room, she brightens up the day and I know that everything is going to be alright as soon as I see her. I once asked why she became a nurse, and her story just made me cry. (You should listen to her story.) She knows the perfect time to smile, laugh, and even when to just be silent and hold your hand. If this is not an example of a DAISY nurse, I do not know what is. - A patient
