Sarah Kelly is an extremely compassionate and caring nurse. She was most recently nominated for the DAISY Award by the daughter of a patient on the Orthopedic Unit. Sarah is frequently named by patients when leader rounding is done. She is cited for being attentive to small details, for being compassionate and kind and looking out for patients as if they were her own family members. When people are ill, recovering from surgery or trauma, her personal touch can make a positive difference in the patient's hospital experience.

Sarah is also a very influential team member. She is helpful and always positive. She will find someone who is very busy and figure out what she can do to help. This is very much appreciated by the recipient and adds to the overall positive mood in the environment. Sarah makes a difference in a lot of great ways.
