Johnette's nomination is an extra special one this month because she was nominated by a physician who took the time to nominate her after observing the compassionate sweet care she gives her patients every day. Please take a moment to enjoy reading Dr. R's nomination:

Johnette was taking care of one of my patients who was discharged. I asked her to please make sure the patient had his antiplatelet meds since he had a stint placed. The patient left and called back saying he was unable to fill his meds. Johnette worked hard to get the patient a 1 month supply after 5pm, when everyone was gone. She was able to get it done and since the patient had no means of transportation, she arranged to get the patient's meds to his house. I have always loved working with Johnette. She's sweet and caring. I think this is a great opportunity to recognize her for always taking extra effort for our patients!

She deserves the DAISY Award not only for that one patient but for so many patients I have witnessed her take care of!
