Amber is a genuine caring individual who emulates the qualities of nursing that go above and beyond the everyday tasks. She is a skilled caregiver who anticipates not only the needs of the frail infant but also the parent's fears and anxieties.

In one example, a mother wrote that she felt comfortable leaving their baby in the NICU when Amber was on shift. The nomination stated "Amber was ALWAYS pleasant, motivating and self confident".

Amber is an excellent charge nurse for the NICU and Nursery, always ensuring that her coworkers are supported and have the resources and supplies needed. Amber lends a hand in every opportunity. She is a great example, constantly looking for opportunities to learn and grow.
