Donny and his teammates were scheduled to do a case on a Thursday morning and when the Cath Team arrived to transport the patient to the Cath Lab, the patient refused to do the test. The patient was so worried about his car being towed that he was willing to delay his care. The patient was so distraught that Donny asked if he could go retrieve the car and bring it to the hospital at which time Donny readily complied and reassured the patient. The patient was so elated to have his car safe and secure. We were able to proceed with his procedure because of this outstanding nurse. Donny went above and beyond what was expected of him.
