Claudine was just an amazing person from day one. After I found out I had breast cancer, she really made me and my husband very at ease and comfortable with all I had to go through. I have 2 cards she gave us to be sure we knew we could call her whenever we needed to. She likes to joke around and this really helped my husband feel more comfortable.
Claudine sat down with us after the doctor talked with us about our options and went over everything in a way in which we really understood.
I was really happy when I went over to Rex main hospital and she came in to make sure all was going well. She told us about a handmade pillow and 2 sided bag made by volunteers to send home with us. When we left that day my husband said that Claudine is so nice. The next day at my surgery, Claudine was there bright and early. She met my son and his wife and my 3 sisters. She treated them like family also. The last person I remember seeing or talking with was Claudine before I went to sleep for surgery. She teased with my husband and said, "I stayed up all night and made your wife this nice pillow and bag." He said, "You lie ....you told us about that yesterday!" She is very knowledgeable and really has the right job!
