I think Wendy Wright-Parker needs to be recognized for the excellent care she gives to both her patients and their families. I recently worked with Wendy on a day in which she encountered a sensitive and very emotionally charged situation that challenged her in every way. She handled herself with an admirable level of grace, compassion and professionalism; even though I knew she was shaken and somewhat personally affected by the situation at hand. That day I was reminded of just how excellent a nurse she is. She puts her heart and soul into caring for her patients and is passionate about achieving the best possible outcome each and every time. I admire her and learn something valuable from her everyday and want her to be recognized for her great work.

Wendy has developed both personally and professionally over the past several years and as a result, has greatly benefited our patient and staff family here at HRH. Her contribution though her work and effort as the past chair of the ICU unit Practice Council has started many process improvements in our unit to better patient care. Wendy's passion for palliative and ethical care here at HRH has benefited our patients and families in their compassionate end of life decisions. Her growth has allowed her to develop her communications and collaboration skills with our physicians, co-workers and support services staff.
