My mom's RN, Jack, is a rock star. He demonstrated skilled, compassionate care as well as quick clinical skills. Jack responded to call lights quickly, kept my mom's dignity when cleaning her up, and had a watchful eye for details positioning, safety with oral intake, discomfort with a rash after Benadryl wore off, keeping up with bladder needs. Thank you, Jack, for calling the MD immediately when my mom had complaints that concerned me of a possible CVA. I can see this shift was exceptionally busy and yet Jack was on top of answering the call button quickly and following through without making my mom feel rushed and "next in line". Thank you Jack for the skilled care you provided. It gave me confidence that my mom was in good hands.
