Pam was an outstanding nurse with our mother. She was the night nurse and spent a long time with our mom getting adjusted to her situation. Our mother was blind, very scared, and in the last stages of kidney failure. When I left mom's room for the evening, I sought Pam out and expressed my concerns. She readily acknowledged and addressed them. According to the next day nurse, Pam was in our mother's room a lot, comforting and reassuring her that she was safe.
