I delivered my daughter at OSF with the extraordinary care of Susan LeBlanc. This was my first delivery and she went above and beyond in every way possible. We had some complications after the baby was delivered and Sue stood by my side the whole time and would not let me leave her sight until I got to see my daughter who was rushed off to NICU. She personally pushed me from Labor and Delivery all the way to NICU (that's a long haul) to make sure I got to see my daughter. This completely astonished me. After her shift, she even went out of her way to come to Mom and Baby to congratulate my husband and me and gave us each a hug. Honestly, this put me in tears. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! She was by my side the entire time during delivery, answering any questions I had and literally delivered my daughter. I know Sue is extremely passionate about her career and deserves to be recognized by not only me but by OSF. You have a truly amazing person on your staff and I hope she is as well taken care of as she takes care of others. Thank you again, Sue, for all you do!
