Diane was nominated by new parents who recognized her for her tireless efforts as their advocate. She went out of her way to research the various options and what the new parents could expect.

This is typical of the level of care and compassion Diane provides to all her patients. Diane had a chronic pain patient who was pregnant and needed help for her addiction to prescription medications. Diane took the time to research care and treatment options and set up a multidisciplinary care conference for the patient and family. She followed up on items discussed and decisions made and offered to care for this patient whenever she was on duty.

Diane is a good listener and is non-judgmental when working with her patients. She is a patient advocate and conscientious in the care of all her patients. Diane is truly a DAISY Nurse!
